Supreme Court issues notice on lack of video link facility in Adiala Jail

Baaghi TV: The court issued notices to the Attorney General, Advocate General Punjab and Islamabad. The court said that what is the policy of the government regarding the video link trial? Video link facility is not difficult in the age of technology,

Accused Khawar Shah told the court that no progress was being made in the trial, to which the NAB prosecutor said that video link facility was not available in Adiala Jail.

Taking notice, the Supreme Court sought a reply from the government.

It is clear that the prisoners are not being produced in court because of Corona. Former President Asif Ali Zardari was to be indicted through video link which was postponed.

Prisoners are presented to the court through video link, but it was revealed that there is no video link facility in Adiala Jail when the NAB prosecutor told the Supreme Court that there is no video link facility available.
