Supreme Court Slams KPK Police on Incompetent Investigation

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police corrupt and incompetent, a child could do better investigation, Supreme Court (SC).

The court expressed strong displeasure over the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa prosecution team and the police for not completing the trial which was to be finished in 3 months.

Justice Qazi Faez Isa stated that the Peshawar High Court had ordered completion of the trial within 3 months but the prosecution did not seem to care about court orders. 21 shells of bullets were found but only 2 bullets were written in the record, the remaining bullets disappeared it seems, he remarked.

He further went on to state that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police is corrupt and incompetent, and that a child could perform a better investigation. “Why is public money being wasted, if investigation is producing no results?” he said. “The police department should be eliminated.”.
