Suspicious person arrested from premises of LHC: Reports
According to Baaghi TV, the suspect was arrested from the premises of the Lahore High Court (LHC).
Police have arrested a suspect from the Lahore High Court premises, identified as Abrar Ahmed, resident of Jalal, Jhakhar Ghakhar Mandi, Gujranwala district. The age of the accused is 28 to 30 years.
The accused was wearing a shirt of an Elite Forces course. When asked about the Elite Force, he could not give any answers. The accused told the police that a case has been registered against him in Race Course Police Station Lahore, under sections 290/291 and 292.
According to police, the man appears to be mentally handicapped. The accused has been handed over to Old Anarkali police station for further investigation and action.
In another incident, a suspect was arrested from outside the Supreme Court registry. A bag full of bullets and a pistol were recovered from the suspect during the check. The name of the suspicious man is reported as Ahsan. According to reports, Ahsan’s opponent had to appear in the Lahore High Court, security personnel handed over Ahsan to the local police.
