Syria Didn't Fall, However, The Brutal Regime Did.... | Baaghi TV

We are aware of the situation developing in Syria and a lightening sequence of events in the last ten days. Vested interests are visible in making different headlines around the world.

Mostly saying “Syria Has Fallen” or “End of Assad’s Dictatorship/Regime” or “Syria’s Civil War” etc.

By any means it was a struggle against a brutal dictator’s regime which was continuing for decades.

Assads killed millions being a minority government and were ruling with iron fist using torture, rape and death as a routine matter. Even when the Damascus fell, 40 inmates were due for execution with in hours, their crime was opposing dictator Bashar Al Assad. Thanks to the swift ouster of Assad that their lives were spared once the jails in Damascus were broken and everyone who was held there with or without charge by the brutal regime was set free.

In 2011, I asked a billionaire and very influential #Syrian that Arab Spring is likely to bring about any change in Syrian politics as we saw a mass level protest but regime was responding very brutally and killing indriminately?

The reposnse was “no, no, no, he (Bashar Al #BasharAlAssad) will not go so easily, he will kill millions to stay in power”.

We ultimately witnessed the same and for years he killed innocent people to cling on to the power.

He (Assad) gained some support from #Russia to pro long his rule but deep inside, Russia also knew that the masses are not with Assad and that it could be a temporary set up just for an entry into Middle East. With the swift movement of Hayat Tahrir Al Sham (#HTS), almost everyone quickly abandoned Bashar Al Assad because no one can afford to go against the will of a nation and Geo Politics in Middle East, as we are witnessing is taking a new shape.

The stake holders including Russia were geared up for this inevitable change and they had already safe guarded their interests. It is a matter of time that we will find it that the vested interest of all the powers in the region are secured and they will try to divide Syria into four regions which should not be accepted by the Syrians as a nation and they must support each other, stay united so that the territorial integrity of the their country is protected.

There are more than fifty different militant groups who were fighting for the same cause and the apprehensions are that now once Assad is ousted, they may start to fight for power. In my opinion it will not happen as it’s only being wished by the “Syrian Enemies”. These enemies should know that their common struggle against repression and the win will bring them together, they were fighting in different factions as they had no communication and the resources to make a single struggle front and they are going to be united.

Though, there are four major factions and each is supported by different interest but it is likely that a confederation of the groups operating in different regions will be formed and the unity of Syria as a nation will be preserved and restored. This is also in the best interest of the Arab and the Muslim World as this has a lot to do with the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East.
