Meanwhile Pakistan’s campaign in the mega event will begin on the 24th, when they are scheduled to play arch rivals India.

Former Pakistani Test cricketer Tauseef Ahmed believes India will definitely be worried ahead of their highly anticipated clash with Pakistan in the T20 World Cup after the Men In Green made changes to the new squad.

Pakistan included Shoaib Malik, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Haider Ali, and Fakhar Zaman as replacements in their 15-man squad for the T20 World Cup.

Wicketkeeper Sarfraz and batsman Haider replaced Azam Khan and Mohammad Hasnain, respectively, while opener Fakhr, originally named a travel reserve, was replaced by Khushdal Shah.

The dropped players failed to perform well in the National T20 Cup after the New Zealand and England series was canceled. Sohaib Maqsood retained his place in the team but was dropped after suffering a back injury.
