Renowned singer and songwriter Taylor Swift’s net worth has reportedly pushed her into billionaire status, according to a Bloomberg report.
The thirty-three-year-old pop star’s latest, Eras tour, has reportedly pushed her net worth to 1.1 billion USD, catapulting her to the status of a billionaire. According to Bloomberg, with an end to the Eras tour’s US run in August, Swift’s net worth has come to a total of 1.1 billion USD from 92.8 million USD in its opening weekend.

The tour which is expected to continue with its international dates next month, has added 4.3 billion USD to the American GDP (gross domestic product) with just fifty-three concerts in the US. Calling its estimates “conservative”, the Bloomberg report claimed, “assets and earnings that could be confirmed or traced from publicly disclosed figures”.

The calculations have considered the estimated value of Swift’s five homes worth approximately $110 million, her music catalog since 2019 worth nearly $400 million as well as earnings from streaming deals such as YouTube and Spotify worth $120 million. Also taken into account were music sales, concert tickets, and merchandise, as well as income tax, tour production, travel costs, and manager and agent commissions, respectively.
Bloomberg further reported that the Eras tour has managed to generate over $700 million in ticket sales to date, excluding the international leg of the tour, according to The Guardian.
