The government announces a new schedule for shopkeepers

Lahore, 31st May: In order to contain the spread of the coronavirus, the Pakistan government has announced a new schedule for shopkeepers to open during a smart lockdown.

According to Baaghi TV, the government has announced that the shops will be opened from 10 am to 4 pm with immediate effect.

AS per sources, the shops will be opened from Monday till Thursday, till June 15, while, on Friday the shop timings will be from 10 am till 1 pm.

A notification has been issued in this regard. However, the businesses and shops will be closed on Friday and Sunday.

The move comes as cases of the coronavirus are on the rise across the country. The effects of softening the lockdown are becoming more dangerous.

In a single day, 88 people lost their life due to the deadly epidemic and another 3,039 became infected. The total death toll rose to 1,483. The number of those who have recovered has reached 25,271.

The number of corona patients is 25,056 in Punjab, 27,360 in Sindh, 9,540 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 4,193 in Balochistan, 2,418 in Islamabad, 678 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 251 in Azad Kashmir.

In the last 24 hours, 88 more people died from Corona in the country, with 3,039 more cases of Corona reported in the last 24 hours. During the last 24 hours, 14,972 corona tests have been done, so far 547,030 corona tests have been done across the country.
