The government has given Eid gift by making petrol more expensive

Karachi: Sherry Rehman while condemning the government’s measures said that the government has failed and now it is burdening the poor people.

According to sources, in this regard, PPP Vice President Senator Sherry Rehman has refused to accept the government’s decisions, saying that she condemns the increase in the price of petrol by Rs 5.40 per liter.

Sherry Rehman on the increase in petrol prices by the government said that the sharp rise in oil prices before Eid is unfortunate.

Sherry Rehman says: “Has the government given this relief to the people on Eid? The government has indeed given relief to the people by presenting a mini budget.”

Sherry Rehman says that the overall rate of inflation has already exceeded 12%, the people are being pushed into the mire of inflation to achieve the target of petroleum levy, the government should take back the decision to increase oil prices.
