Children are the only guarantee of the future of nations, the government is aware of its responsibilities regarding children’s rights. The government is committed to ensuring the education, health and safety of children.
Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the government has launched several programs to protect the rights of children, as children are the most valuable asset of any nation. National Commission on the Rights of the Child was formed, in this regard. A girl and a boy are represented in the commission. Zainab Alert Act, Juvenile Justice System Act 2018 and ICT Child Protection Act were enacted for the protection of children.
Pakistan is committed to protecting children from all forms of exploitation, discrimination and backwardness. Reiterate our commitment to the promotion and protection of children’s rights. The purpose of this day is to improve the welfare of children, to promote the rights of children and to promote solidarity and awareness among the concerned institutions.
In 1989, the United Nations General Assembly declared the rights of children. Since then, on November 20th, 1990, approximately 186 countries around the world have formally supported and legalized International Children’s Day in accordance with their recognized rights, and have passed a resolution declaring November 20th each year as the International Children’s Day.
