Watch: The Grand Finale of Coke Studio
LAHORE (30th Nov, 2019): After six successful episodes, Coke Studio season 12 has come to an end.
According to reports of Baaghi TV, the grand finale of season 12 featured four songs, and the choice of artists was interesting to say the least.
The episode featured Kashif Din, along with vocalist Nimra Rafiq in “Bo Giyam”, fusing Burushaski and Urdu in a song.
Moreover, the classically trained trio of sisters, Harsakhiyan in “Tiri Pawanda”, reincarnating poetry by Shaikh Ayaz. The song wraps the accompanying hope of reunion, in images of nature and flowers.

On top of this, Atif Aslam’s “Aaye Kuch Abr” highlighted the beauty of Faiz Ahmed Faiz’s poetry.
Reportedly, our favourite singer, Quratulain Balouch closes Coke Studio season. Quratulain Balouch and Ali Sethi’s “Mundiya” gave voice to the flirtatious banter between two playful characters from the film Mukhra (1980). Meanwhile, it was originally sung by Noor Jehan.

Be clear that, the season opened with the hamd, “Wohi Khuda Hai” in the beautiful voice of Atif Aslam on 11th of October, followed by the release of 16 songs.
