Making History: First flight from Israel due to land in Abu Dhabi

An Israeli flight carrying Israeli and US officials has arrived in the United Arab Emirates. The delegation to the UAE also included Jared Kushner, son-in-law of US President Trump.

The flight LY971 commenced after a peace deal finalized between the two countries earlier this month.

The flight of the Israeli airline Al-El arrived in the United Arab Emirates after a three-hour flight from the capital Tel Aviv.

Israel to hold secret talks with many more Arab states

The flight was allowed to use Saudi Arabia’s airspace exclusively to travel to the UAE.

The UAE is the third Arab country to recognize Israel. Egypt and Jordan have already recognized it. The two countries signed peace agreements with Israel in 1978 and 1994.

It should be noted that recently, the Crown Prince of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan while announcing the end of the economic boycott of Israel, had said that UAE individuals and companies have been allowed to enter into agreements with Israeli institutions.
