Lahore, 15th July: The Martyrs Foundation has sent a reference against Khawaja Asif to the Speaker of the National Assembly.

According to the Baaghi TV report, the Martyrs’ Foundation has sent a reference against Khawaja Asif to the Speaker of the National Assembly.

The reference states that Khawaja Asif in his July 8 speech not only flagrantly violated the teachings of the Qur’an but also Islamic law has also been mocked. Allah Almighty has clearly given Islam superiority over other religions and if Khawaja Asif does not know this basic thing yet, then how are they Muslims and how can they represent Muslims?

Khawaja Asif, while addressing the assembly a few days ago, had said that all religions are equal. He also said that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) had offered Eid prayers in the church.

Khawaja Asif’s speech has caused a great deal of frustration among the Muslims of Pakistan and for this reason he is being criticized a lot.

Earlier, Chairman Central Ulema Council of Pakistan Sahibzada Zahid Mahmood Qasmi said that Khawaja Asif addressed the National Assembly to please India. According to him, all religions, including Islam, are equal and no religion has superiority over other religions.

Whereas in the Qur’an al-Hakim it is said that He is the One who sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth so that May Allah prevail over all religions and it is enough for Allah to bear witness. (Surat al-Fath, 2) This Qur’anic verse has been violated.

Khawaja Asif has insulted Islam. The leadership of the Muslim League should take immediate action against him. Khawaja Asif’s statement is a sign of distance from Islam and closeness to Modi’s ideology.
