The school with COVID-19 case will be closed immediately
Lahore, 18th September: Punjab Education Minister Murad Raas has said that the school in which the COVID-19 case will be detected will be closed immediately.
Baaghi TV: Talking to Hum News, he said that there are 120,000 schools in Punjab, and SOPs are being implemented in some schools.

“Staff or teachers affected by corona in schools should refrain from attending. After all, educational institutions are open now. We will not close all schools,” he said.
Murad Raas’s surprise visit to the educational institutes
Murad Raas said that attendance in some government educational institutions in Punjab is satisfactory. Teachers and school administration were insisting on opening educational institutions. He said that now is the time for teachers and administration to show responsibility.
As per reports, 13 educational institutions are sealed for violating the coronavirus SOPs.
According to the NCOC, in the last 24 hours, 13 educational institutions across Pakistan that do not implement Corona SOPs have been closed.
Sindh considers keeping primary classes closed
10 educational institutions belong to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 3 to Sindh. The number of sealed institutions has increased to 35.
Earlier in the day, the NCOC had said that 22 educational institutions were closed in the last 48 hours for violating Corona SOPs.
On the other hand, the coronavirus has been diagnosed in 8 staff members of two colleges in Matiari district of Hyderabad. Both the colleges have been temporarily closed after cases of coronavirus were reported.
