He was an alumnus of Lawrence college Ghora Gali, Murree who had passed out in the sixties. He was the founding member of Tehreek-e-Insaaf. He led the party as its president of the Punjab chapter. He paved the way for the party and its leader making inroads with the visibly influential stalwarts of Punjab. He made a headway, found himself at variance with Imran Khan and his unpredictable moves.

A lollapalooza, an asset for the party. He spearheaded the show as long as he could, because of health reasons he had a back seat role but remained vocal in his views to rid the party of its ills. Alas! He is no more, he was the one who gave you a shoulder to lean on, when in trouble. An irreparable loss which left a void … but none can avert the decree of fate … to Him shall we all return.
