The wait is over, the Corona vaccine campaign set to begin today

According to a report by Baaghi TV, Federal Minister for Planning, Chief NCOC Asad Omar has said that the Corona vaccine campaign will begin today in the presence of the Prime Minister.

Tweeting on the social networking site Twitter, Asad Omar said that the corona vaccination campaign will start tomorrow in all the provincial capitals. The vaccine will be given to frontline health workers first.

In the first phase, health workers will be vaccinated, according to the National Command and Operations Center. In the second phase, people over the age of 60 will be vaccinated, and every citizen will be vaccinated free of cost. The registration process for the Corona Vaccine has been simplified, and a text message will be sent requesting for the vaccine.

Adult Vaccination Centers have been set up across the country. The whole process of vaccination will be controlled by digital mechanism. For the first phase of vaccination, 189 centers have been set up in Punjab and 14 in Sindh. The NCOC will act as a nerve center for the entire vaccination campaign. Core centers have also been set up at the provincial, district and tehsil levels for vaccination which will work together. The vaccination process will begin nationwide from February 3.
