Former Pakistan cricket captain and wicket-keeper-batsman, Sarfraz Ahmed says that he must have made some mistakes which caused him to drop out of the team and that he tries not to repeat those mistakes.

Sarfaraz Ahmed said that he will give such a performance on low back which will secure a place in the team again, it does not matter if he is the second choice wicket keeper, this has happened in the past and it benefits the team.

Sarfaraz Ahmed, who was sacked from the Pakistan team in October 2019, has been included in the 29-member squad for the tour of England. Sarfaraz Ahmed, 33, who joined the national squad nine months later, told the media. He said that he is happy to return to the national squad and will try his best to perform wherever possible.

Sarfaraz Ahmed said that after being the captain and regular member of the team, it is frustrating to be dropped like this but the positive thing was that he got involved in domestic cricket and PSL due to which he kept himself away from negative thoughts.

He further said that human beings make mistakes and maybe he also made mistakes due to which he was dropped from the team.

Sarfaraz said that as a captain his priority and focus was overall performance but now he will be free from it and focus on his performance.

The former captain, who made Pakistan the number one T20 team and won the Champions Trophy, added that he did not care that he would have to play as a normal player after being captain in the past.

Sarfaraz Ahmed said that as a captain he has never been a fan of the players nor has he flown too high. He has worked hard on his fitness during the tour with the team, no matter the first choice, or the second choice. He added that he will perform for the team and try to perform once again in a way that will help him to secure a permanent place in the team.

Sarfaraz Ahmed said that he wanted to make his low back better and more memorable than the past. To a question, the former captain said that Pakistan has a strong coaching staff with the team, such a strong coaching staff has never been seen before and it is a great opportunity for young players to learn from the big players so that in the future their It worked.
