Third Round of PCB Under 16 National One Day Tournament Complete
Rawalpindi 17th February 2021: Southern Punjab, Balochistan, and Central Punjab won their respective matches in the PCB Under 16 National One Day Cup.
Balochistan vs Northern
Balochistan defeated Northern by two wickets in the match played at Pindi Cricket Stadium. The reached the target of 174 runs for the loss of eight wickets, in 40.3 overs. Abdus Saboor (62) and Ikramullah (35) were the standout performers. Saad Masood took 4 wickets for Northern. Previously, Northern was bowled out for 173 runs in 41.1 overs. Hamza Waheed scored 55 and Shumayl Hussain scored 36 runs for Northern. Muhammad Qasim took three wickets for Balochistan.
Southern Punjab vs Sindh
In the match held at Ayub Park Cricket Ground, Rawalpindi, Southern Punjab defeated Sindh by seven wickets. The winning team reached the target of 150 runs in 24.1 overs at the loss of three wickets.Arafat Ahmed remained not out at 86. Romail Ahmed took three wickets for Sindh. Previously Sindh had got bowled out for 149 runs in just 36 overs. Wahaj Riaz scored 29 runs for Sindh. Haseeb Gul took 5 wickets for 21 runs.
Central Punjab vs Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
In the match played at Rawal Cricket Ground, Rawalpindi, Central Punjab defeated Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for three wickets. Central Punjab reached the required target of 198 runs in 44.1 overs, for the loss of seven wickets. Muhammad Ayaz with his brilliant bowling took 5 wickets for 28 runs, for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Previously Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was bowled out for 197-9 in the given 45 overs. Captain Muhammad Tahir was the top-scorer with 37 runs. Ubaidullah took three wickets for Central Punjab.
