Thousand Schengen Visa Stickers Stolen from Italian Embassy in Islamabad
Baaghi TV: Diplomatic Enclave Islamabad faces theft, which is being called the biggest burglary in history. Unknown people have stolen a thousand Schengen visa stickers from the visa locker room of the Italian embassy in Islamabad.
Following the theft, the Italian ambassador sent an emergency letter to the Foreign Ministry and the Federal Investigation Agency for a comprehensive investigation.
The serial numbers of the stolen 750 Shenzhen visa stickers are ITA041913251 to ITA041914000 and the serial numbers of 250 visa stickers are ITA041915751 to ITA041916000.
The letter said that those traveling on passports with relevant serial numbers should be arrested.
The Interior Ministry wrote a letter to the FIA seeking an investigation, after which the FIA launched a formal investigation. Since then, Pakistani authorities have started strict surveillance on all routes and airports to and from Pakistan. The airports are currently under strict security, the Italian embassy has appealed to the government for this measure.
