Three Pakistani cricket players tested positive for coronavirus

LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has said that the corona tests of three players of national cricket team came positive.

The three players who tested positive for coronavirus were Shadab Khan, Haris Rauf and Haider Ali.

According to details, the Pakistan Cricket Board confirmed that three players are affected from coronavirus before the tour of England.

PCB officials said that league spinner Shadab Khan, young cricketer Haider Ali and Haris Rauf have been diagnosed with corona after which all the three players have quarantined themselves.

It is to be noted that before the national cricket team’s tour of England, there were no symptoms in the players till the Corona test was held in Rawalpindi on Sunday.

PCB officials say the three players will join the team if the test is negative twice. The PCB medical panel is in touch with the three who have been advised to go into isolation immediately.

According to the report, Immad Wasim and Usman Shinwari will reach Lahore on June 24th as their corona test report has come negative.

According to the PCB, besides Cliff Deacon, Shoaib Malik and Waqar Younis, other players and team officials were tested on Monday at their respective centers in Karachi, Lahore and Peshawar. Their report will be released on Tuesday at some stage,which will be announced by the PCB.

PCB officials say no further comment will be made until then.
