TikTok Banned: Jannat Mirza’s unexpected reaction

Lahore, 11th October: Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has banned the famous social media app TikTok in the country due to immoral content becoming common on it.

Following the ban on the TikTok in Pakistan, many TikTok stars who had gained famed and were earning though it has suffered a huge setback. Among them is the most popular star Jannat Mirza.

TikTok Banned: Is it justified or not?

Following the ban on TikTok in Pakistan, star Jannat Mirza has shown an interesting reaction on social media.

She is Pakistan’s number one TikTok star, who recently won 10 million followers on Tik Tok. Mirza has posted some pictures of herself on Instagram in which she expressed through facial expressions after the app got banned in the country.

Posting photos on Instagram, Jannat Mirza jokingly wrote in the caption that the PTA (Pakistan Telecommunications Authority) had received a call that there were no more tik tokers.

She also used funny and heartbreaking emojis to express her sadness.

This humorous caption of Jannat Mirza was well received by the fans till it became a part of the memes which are now going viral on social media.

After the ban on TikTok in Pakistan, Jannat Mirza had released a special message for her fans through her Instagram Story. She informed her fans that she is currently in Japan and here her TikTok account is running normally so they don’t need a VPN.

TikTok star said that they will keep uploading their new videos so if you want to watch their TikTok videos then she advised to turn on VPN.

She added that Japanese people will continue to enjoy her videos until the ban on TikTok in Pakistan is lifted.

In addition, Jannat Mirza disclosed that she herself wanted a ban on the app but not on a permanent basis.

“I personally wanted a ban on TikTok, but it shouldn’t be on a permanent basis,” she said.

Jannat said that it was not appropriate to impose a permanent ban on TikTok because a lot of people were showing their skills, they were getting various offers and they were building their careers.

Jannat Mirza had further said that there should be a team in Pakistan to monitor TikTok and this team should watch every video before it is posted and let the standard video be aired.

This will help in promoting talent and videos should be allowed to be broadcast after passing a regular code of conduct.
