Traders’ body meets governor Punjab
Lahore: A delegation of All Pakistan Corrugated Carton Manufacturers Association led by Chairman Mr. Zaki Ijaz Qureshi met with honorable Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar.
Other participants included Kh. Tariq Mahmood, Mr. Adnan Khalid Butt, Mr. Shahid Ghafoor, Mr. Muhammad Pervez and Mr. Ahmed Saleem Ajmal.
Governor Punjab Chaudhry Sarwar welcomed the participants. Mr. Zaki Ijaz Qureshi presented the issues of Corrugated Industry including Declare Sector as Industry, Approval of Special Economic Zone, Reduce Customs & Additional Duty, Sales Tax Refund, Cancel SRO 492(1)2009, Revision of Custom value, R&D Institute Required for Corrugated Packaging Sector, Committee required for Corrugated Packaging Sector, Workers training required with TEVTA, Coordination with WASA, SNGPL and LESCO etc.
The Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar Sahib, while commenting, assuring his support for the solution of corrugated sector issues. He directed his team to contact the concerned department for the solution of above mentioned issued on priority.
