According to a Baaghi TV report, the head of Israel’s Mossad intelligence agency has said that Turkey is a bigger threat to Israel than Iran. Iran’s power is temporary, while the real threat comes from Turkey.

According to the news agency, Mossad chief UC Cohen made the remarks during talks with his counterparts in Egypt, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. The Mossad chief said that Iran was not an existential threat and that it could be overcome through sanctions, raids and the sharing of intelligence.

The Mossad chief added that Turkey has resorted to forced diplomacy, but that there is a unique challenge to strategic stability in the Eastern Mediterranean.

According to the news agency, the Mossad chief said that under the leadership of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkey has become a “troubled region” and that “its own friends are tired of constantly looking for enemies.” Erdogan has created enemies from all corners in an attempt to control his obsession in the Middle East and the Eastern Mediterranean.

According to the Greek City Times, Turkey has the support of the government, which has only expired national agreements in Qatar, Azerbaijan and the Libyan capital, Tripoli, and whose mandate to rule from the United Nations expired in December 2017.
