Twitter’s threats to block “Baaghi TV’s” Twitter accounts are unacceptable, Pro-India behavior should be stopped: Tahir Ashrafi

Lahore, 9th February, 2021: “Twitter threats to block Baaghi TV’s Twitter account are unacceptable. Pro-India behavior should be stopped”, Allama Tahir Ashrafi calls Twitter’s behavior biased and requests reconsideration.

Baaghi TV: According to reports, Allama Tahir Ashrafi, a well-known religious scholar and adviser to the Prime Minister, has reacted strongly to the Indian government’s threat to shut down the Twitter account of “Baaghi TV”, the voice of the oppressed in India.

Talking to Baaghi TV, Allama Tahir-ul-Ashrafi said that raising voice against Indian government’s threats to silence such a media channel is no less than an honor for me.

He said that a channel against which the Indian government propagates is considered as an enemy  of the oppressive Indian government and the channels against which India is silent are considered pro-Indian.

Expressing a strong reaction, Allama Tahir Ashrafi said that “Baaghi TV” is also one of the media channels which India considers as its enemy and blames it for raising the voice of oppressed classes living in India.

Allama Tahir-ul-Ashrafi has said that he will take this issue to a higher level and will present Pakistan’s position against this attitude of Twitter.
