Two famous Pak Dramas to be aired in KSA
Lahore, 20th July 2020: Following the successful Arabic dubbing of Pakistan Television drama serial ‘Dhoop Kinare’, two more Pakistani dramas will now be aired in Saudi Arabia soon.
According to Baaghi TV, two mega-hit dramas of PTV ‘Tanhayan’ and ‘Aahat’ will soon be dubbed in the Arabic language to be telecast in Saudi Arabia.
Dhoop Kinarey to be Telecast in KSA
According to international media reports, since the visit of Science and Technology Minister Fawad Chaudhry to the Saudi capital in 2019, there have been rumors that Saudi Arabia has dubbed Pakistani dramas into Arabic to strengthen ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
It was a part of the ‘Cultural Exchange Program’ launched between Islamabad and Riyadh after Fawad Chaudhry’s visit.
Pakistani Celebrity Couple Goals
Under the plan, a list of Pakistan’s three most popular dramas was compiled, which included Dhoop Kinare, Tanhayan, and Aahat. However, the Arabic dubbing of two dramas, Tanhayan and Aahat, was delayed due to the PTV channel’s low budget.
The project’s supervisor Dr. Lubna Farah had said that the dubbing of the play ‘Dhoop KInare’ in Arabic has been completed and now the play is ready to be aired in Saudi Arabia.
Famous Dramas Rejected by Fawad Khan
Shazia Sikandar, a former director of international affairs at PTV, said the project was launched three years ago. The dubbing of the other two dramas could not be completed due to the non-availability of funds.
On the other hand, Science and Technology Minister Fawad Chaudhry also tweeted on his Twitter account that the drama ‘Dhoop Kinare’ is ready to be dubbed in Arabic and aired in Saudi Arabia.
Soon after the other two super hit dramas Tanhayan and Aahat will be broadcast in Saudi Arabia with Arabic dubbing.
