According to the report of Baaghi TV, two more petitions against the construction of the temple in Islamabad were disposed off.
Justice Amir Farooq of the Islamabad High Court heard the petitions. The court said that such petitions have already become ineffective.
Justice Amir Farooq said that nothing is happening at the moment. The work is stalled. Let the CDA decide on this. If the law is violated, the CDA may cancel the allotment. If there is a complaint after the decisions of the Islamic Ideological Council and CDA, then you can go to court.
Earlier, two days ago, the Islamabad High Court had declared the petitions against the construction of a temple in the federal capital ineffective and said that the court had no basis to intervene in the matter.
Islamabad High Court Justice Amir Farooq in his judgment on the petitions against the construction of the temple in the federal capital said that the government has not released funds for the construction of the temple. The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has not yet approved the building plan.
The court said construction could not take place without CDA regulations. The federation has referred the matter of expenditure on construction of the temple to the Islamic Ideological Council. Therefore, the applications are ineffective.
The court also rejected the objection of not allocating space for the temple in the master plan of Islamabad, saying that under the CDA layout plan, the chairman and the CDA allocate plots in sectors and sub-sectors with the approval of the board.
And construction there can only be done in accordance with CDA rules, there is no basis for the court to intervene in this matter.
It should be noted that the foundation stone of the first temple was laid in the federal capital Islamabad. In 2017, on the orders of the National Commission for Human Rights, a four-marla plot was allotted to the Hindu Panchayat of Islamabad by the CDA. Work has begun on the infrastructure and the four walls.
It will be the first Hindu temple to be built in Islamabad. Parliamentary Secretary for Human Rights Lal Malhi was the chief guest at the groundbreaking ceremony. The first temple is being built in Islamabad after the independence of Pakistan. Sector H9 / 2 of Islamabad has been allotted for the Hindu community’s place of worship.
