Two witnesses to stand against Asif Zardari

Karachi, 29th July 2020: In the Park Lane reference, two former presidents of the National Bank became pardoned witnesses against Asif Ali Zardari.
Former National Bank presidents Syed Ali Raza Zardari and Qamar Hussain will be pardoned witnesses, NAB prosecutors say.
The NAB has produced 61 witnesses in the Park Lane reference against Asif Ali Zardari. Syed Ali Raza was the president of the National Bank when the loan was issued to the alleged front company of Park Lane, Parthenon.
According to NAB, Syed Ali Raza has been made a pardoned witness on his own request. Syed Ali Raza stated that Zardari as the President of Pakistan had met Anwar Majeed and Abdul Ghani Majeed with the bank officials, Zardari told the bank officials.
He said that my messages would be conveyed by Anwar Majeed and Abdul Ghani Majeed. The loans were released under the pressure of Zardari who went into fake accounts. All the officers of the National Bank Credit Committee are also among the witnesses against Zardari.

Park Lane and Parthenon were Zardari’s front companies. SECP officials will also testify. The NAB has record statements of all 61 witnesses under Section 161 of the Criminal Procedure Code. Will also be offered
According to the investigation report, the front companies Park Lane and Parthenon were run by Younis Qadwai as the frontman. The money of loans and kickbacks was deposited in fake accounts by Younis Qadwai. 9 officers of the NAB Rawalpindi investigation team who collected evidence are also included in the list of witnesses.

Muhammad Ali Abro of the FIA, who initially investigated the fake accounts, will also be a witness.
It should be noted that former President Asif Ali Zardari had said in reply to NAB regarding Park Lane that Park Lane Company was bought by President Hashwani in 1989.
Iqbal Memon, Kim Umar Bilawal, Rehmatullah, Muhammad Younis, and Altaf Hussain were my partners. Park Lane owned only 25% of the company and resigned as director on September 1, 2008, before becoming president.
According to NAB, Asif Zardari is a 25% shareholder of Park Lane Company. He took a loan of Rs 1.5 billion by making a fake company Parthenon.
