U.S. Elections: A Close Ally Dashed President Trump's Hopes

Washington: A close ally of Donald Trump, Attorney General William Barr, has said there is no evidence of widespread fraud in the United States (U.S.) Presidential Elections 2020.

According to the details, Attorney General William Barr has said in a statement contrary to the claims of US President Donald Trump that there is no evidence of rigging in the 2020 presidential election.

Attorney General William Barr said there was no evidence to change the outcome of the election, adding that the Department of Justice and the Department of Homeland Security were investigating allegations of fraud by President Trump, but had so far found no evidence to substantiate the allegations.

William said there were reports of fraud, and machines were damaged, but no evidence was found. It should be noted that Attorney General William Barr is considered a close and trusted ally of U.S. President Donald Trump.

Just a few days ago, President Trump’s legal team received another major blow when U.S. President’s appeal against the election results in the state of Pennsylvania was rejected.

US President Trump has refused to concede defeat in the election, challenging the results in the losing states, while he has twice been defeated in court in the state of Pennsylvania. After the lower court, the Federal Court of Appeals also rejected Trump’s claim of fraud.

President Trump’s lawyers have announced that they will challenge the decision in the U.S. Supreme Court.
