UAE Warns Turkey to Desist from Interference
Baaghi TV: After Turkey’s statement regarding Libya, the UAE has warned Turkey to stay out of matters pertaining to the Arab world. Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Anwar Gargash has said that Turkey cannot take this line. Such an attitude is a relic of the past and relations between countries are not established on the basis of threats. Turkey supports the UN-backed government in Libya.
It should be clear that there are differences of opinions between Turkey and UAE regarding Libya. UAE supports the opposition in Libya led by Khalifa Haftar whereas Turkey is actively supporting the Libyan government against Khalifa Haftar.
