British Home Secretary Suella Braverman’s remarks that British-Pakistani men hold cultural values at odds with British values are heavily criticised by political commentators and children’s charities as inflammatory.
Social media reports suggest the remarks akin to initiating race wars.
"The data shows that the vast majority of perpetrators in this area are white men under 30.. Why are you focusing on British Pakistani men when the data shows it's not actually how it pans out?"

International commentator Mahdi Hasan said despite heavy competition, and despite her own ethnicity, Suella Braverman may be the most bigoted, cynical, and dangerous politician to emerge from the modern UK Conservative Party in many decades.
This is vile and dishonest stuff, he added.
