There are more than 140 prisoners in the UK who have been held in hotels after being released due to the corona virus.
Six of the inmates were released just to ease the rush.
According to the reports, a letter was addressed to hotel owners stating that they will not be told about the crimes committed by the inmates. However, the government seems to be pushing for a strict investigation into the culprits.
The Justice Ministry says the prisoners being released have been thoroughly investigated to see if they pose a threat in the future.
