UNSC denies involvement of Indian citizen in terrorist activities

WASHINGTON, June 24th: The United States, India and other allies have reportedly once again opened their hatred against Pakistan for refusing to recognize an Indian national involved in terrorist activities in Pakistan as a double standard.

Pakistan has suffered a major blow to the UN Security Council after the 1267 Committee banned the efforts of an Indian national working in Afghanistan to be branded as a ‘global terrorist’.

Indian media is claiming that Pakistan could not provide evidence of Indian citizen being a terrorist in this forum. It has also been said that the United States has fully supported India in thwarting all Pakistan’s efforts, which is why the United States has played an important role in getting the Pakistani resolution passed and the rest of the countries voting against it.

The United States also called on other members of the Security Council to end Pakistan’s proposal, noting that last year the resolution was postponed for a year by the United States due to technical objections.

It may be recalled that Pakistan had said in the resolution that an Indian citizen uses the territory of Afghanistan to carry out acts of terrorism in Pakistan. Indian media have said that Pakistan has failed to provide significant evidence to link a terrorist group to an Indian national who is an engineer working with an Indian construction company operating in Afghanistan.

It is to be noted that in return for passing this resolution of Pakistan, the United States wanted to be closer to the United States than China in the region, which was rejected by Pakistan. It is also worth mentioning that at this very moment, when China Is facing a lot of embarrassment, it is going to be considered as an attempt by the United States to support it.
