Baaghi TV: Twitter and Facebook suspend news accounts amidst ongoing US Presidential Elections 2020.
According to Baaghi TV, the main pillars of social media, Twitter and Facebook, reportedly suspended multiple accounts made recently as per reports of Reuters. These accounts were suspended for publishing voting information and violating the policy in the elections.
Twitter in its explanation stated that, it had suspended the accounts based on people’s behavior, character and inclinations towards the ongoing US Presidential Elections, while maintaining its independent policy.
The account, which had more than 10,000 followers, was suspended last week. In addition, SV News Alerts, which had more than 78,000 Twitter followers, was also suspended.
The account often highlighted election-related unrest, and highlighted issues related to voting security and confidence-building. In addition, the account highlights fraudulent claims about Democrats and called for them to broadcast Republican President Donald Trump’s rallies and speeches.
