According to a report by Baaghi TV, the Democratic candidate in the US presidential election, Muslim woman Ilhan Omar Abdullah, has once again won from the state of Minnesota.
In the 2018 US midterm elections, Ilhan Omar won 72 percent of the votes in Minnesota, while her Republican rival received only 22 percent. In the US presidential election in 2020, Ilhan Omar received 251,820 votes from Minnesota, which is 64.6% of the votes cast.
Ilhan Omar’s rival and Republican candidate Johnson received 1,907 votes, or 25.9 percent.
Ilhan Omar’s parents are from Somalia. Omar’s family moved to Minnesota in 1997, where a large number of Somalis live. Over the past year, Ilhan Omar has been discriminated against and threatened with death in the United States. Democrat Ilhan Omar is a staunch opponent of President Trump’s immigration policies and anti-Muslim rhetoric.
No Muslim woman has ever been elected from the Congress before the Democratic candidates Rashida Talib and Ilhan Omar. The two women won the 2018 US midterm elections for the first time.
It should be noted that, President Trump or Joe Biden need 270 out of 538 electoral votes to take over the presidency.
Donald Trump said that it is not easy for me to lose the presidential election, today will be a great night but it is too early to say anything in politics, our position is strong in Texas, Florida, Arizona, victory is easy and defeat is very difficult. Election results should be announced soon, early voting is dangerous for America, victory or defeat speech is not ready yet, very good results are coming from all over the country.
