US Elections 2020: Protesters have taken to the streets

Washington, 4th November: Anti-Trump protesters stormed the streets of Washington, D.C., shortly after the end of the US presidential election and the start of the vote count, according to reports. The situation has changed.

Hundreds of protesters set off fireworks and chanted slogans in various parts of the capital, chanting “If we don’t get justice, we won’t let them be happy.”.

According to NBC Washington, most of the protesters were peaceful, but there have been reports of clashes outside the White House, with three people detained as a result of the clashes. CBS correspondent Christinarovni tweeted: “Apparently a few smoke bombs have been used.”

There were also reports of protests in Los Angeles, California, North Carolina, Portland, Oregon and New York City.
