According to Baaghi TV, US President Joe Biden has congratulated President Arif Alvi on Pakistan Day.
Biden has written a letter to President Arif Alvi on the occasion of Pakistan Day. In the letter, Biden congratulated the Pakistani nation on the occasion of Pakistan Day. The letter said that the Pakistan-US partnership is based on the common goal of regional peace and prosperity. We will continue to work for peace in Afghanistan and for the control of the Corona epidemic, he added. Cooperation will also continue to address climate change and common challenges, and we will strengthen our partnership with Pakistan in the future.
It is significant to note that this is Biden’s first contact with the Government of Pakistan since being elected into Office. Joe Biden was congratulated by the Prime Minister and other dignitaries on his election as President of the United States.
On the occasion of 23rd March, Pakistan Resolution Day is being celebrated with enthusiasm all over Pakistan. The day began with a 31-gun salute in the federal capital. On this occasion, the soldiers of Pakistan Army chanted slogans of “Long live Pakistan”. The day also started with salute of 21 cannons in Lahore garrison. The Peshawar garrison also fired 21 artillery shells in connection with the Independence Day celebrations. The day started with a salute of 21 cannons in Quetta Cantt.
In his message on Pakistan Day, President Dr. Arif Alvi said that today we pledge to make Pakistan an economically strong and prosperous country and to uphold democratic values, rule of law and Islamic way of life in accordance with the vision of the founders. For lasting peace in South Asia, the resolution of the Jammu and Kashmir dispute is key, according to relevant Security Council resolutions.
