US President lifts ban on Chinese applications

June 23, 2021: BaaghiTV: According to a foreign news agency, the ban on Chinese applications has been lifted by the new Biden administration. The ban was initially enforced by former US President Donald Trump.

According to the news agency, US President Joe Biden withdrew Trump’s decision to ban Tick Tock and Wei Chat. Donald Trump had banned Tick Tock and Wei Chat. On the other hand, China has welcomed Biden’s decision. Earlier on, US President Donald Trump signed an executive order banning transactions with eight Chinese software applications, including Alipay and seven other apps.

US President Donald Trump has signed an executive order banning eight Chinese companies – an executive order aimed at preventing the Chinese government from collecting US consumer data. The document urges the United States to take aggressive measures to protect national security from Chinese software applications. Chinese companies AliPay, VChatPay, CamScanner, Share Eight, Tencent QQ, VMet and WPS Office apps were banned. The order was issued by Donald Trump 14 days before the end of his presidency.

On the other hand, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman said during a regular briefing on Wednesday that China would take necessary steps to protect the legal rights of companies. The spokesman said the United States was abusing its authority and pressuring foreign companies for no reason. The ministry added that it had also harmed the interests of Chinese companies and their customers, including the United States, which had applied for non-contact payment during the pandemic.
