US to allow fully vaccinated foreigners to enter the country

United States (US) will allow fully vaccinated foreigners to enter the country from November 8.
According to the French news agency, Agence France-Presse (AFP), the White House Assistant Press Secretary Kevin Munoz has tweeted that people who have been fully vaccinated against the corona virus will be able to travel to the United States by land and air from November 8.

He said that the basis of this policy is the health of the people. Under the new policy, fully vaccinated people will have to undergo tests and contact tracing. The country’s allies have also welcomed the US move to lift travel restrictions, due to which travelers from around the world could not enter the United States.
The White House announced Tuesday that it would lift sanctions on fully vaccinated people in Canada and Mexico in early November. Unvaccinated people from Canada and Mexico will still be barred from entering US.
Furthermore, Canada has allowed unlicensed travel to fully vaccinated people in the United States since August 9.
