Vaccination of 40-49 to start from next week

Lahore, 29th April: Pakistanis aged 40 till 49 will start getting the coronavirus vaccine from May 3.

According to Federal Minister Asad Umar who is also the head of the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), announced that citizens whose ages fall within 40-49 will get their vaccination dose from Monday, May 3.

The Minister took to his Twitter account on Thursday to make the announcement.

Asad Umar tweeted, “Second successive day of more than 1 lakh vaccinations. Encouraging to see the pace of registration also picking up.”

He added that vaccination of people aged between 40 and 49 will start from next Monday, May 3.

Baaghi TV reported on April 27, that the government is starting the registration process for the vaccination of 40 plus people.

It is to be noted that currently, citizens aged between 50-59 are getting their coronavirus jabs.
