Veena informs about her recovery after surgery
Actress Veena Malik informed her fans that she had been recovering after breast surgery while talking to Independent Urdu.
Well, that was the day when I got to know that breast care is real and there was a fat lump. When I got my check-up done, my doctor suggested me to get it removed because it could get dangerous. It was actually growing with every check-up so I got it removed. Alhamdulillah, I am recovering now and I hope it doesn’t develop again, said Veena.
She encouraged the women to take care, “To all the beautiful ladies out there, breast care is real. I used to read and hear about it but as it is said, ‘when it comes to you; then you realize’.”

She had her breast tumor removal surgery successfully at Karachi Hospital and she shared an encouraging message to other women too. She took to social media giant Twitter saying, “With the grace of Almighty Allah, I had a successful fibroadenoma removal surgery at the South City Hospital, Karachi. I am indebted to all the love and prayers said and expressed by my people.”
