Veteran TV actor Mirza Shahi passes away
Lahore, 30th September: Pakistan television’s veteran actor Mirza Shahi has passed away.
According to Baaghi TV, senior actor Mirza Shahi passed away in Karachi on Tuesday after suffering from coronavirus.
Mirza Shahi’s health deteriorated after he contracted COVID-19, and was shifted to the Civil Hospital. He was put on a ventilator and breathed his last after suffering for a week from the disease.

Shahi’s wife and daughter have also tested positive for the disease.
It is a great loss for the showbiz industry, who has lost a talented actor and comedian today.
The veteran actor entered the Pakistan Film Industry in1960s with filmstar Nadeem’s first movie “Chakori” in 1967.
He worked in several PTV dramas and made his name from the famous series ‘Fifty-Fifty’. He also earned fame for appearing in the drama serial ‘Hi Jaidi’ with comedian Athar Shah Khan.

Lately, he started working with the private production companies, and his notable dramas were ‘Quddosi Saab Ki Bewah’ and ‘Nadaaniyan’. His character Chacha Kamal from ‘Nadaaniyan’ was well-liked by the audience.
