Violation of Corona SOPs, NCOC in Action


According to the NCOC, 13 non-compliant educational institutions across Pakistan have been shut down in the last 24 hours.

10 educational institutions belong to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa while 3 belong to Sindh. The number of sealed institutions in Pakistan so far has reached 35.

Earlier in the day, the NCOC had said that 22 educational institutions had been closed in the last 48 hours for violating Corona SOPs. According to the NCOC, educational institutions were closed for violating the Corona SOPs. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 16, Islamabad one and Azad Kashmir 5 educational institutions have been closed.

On the other hand, 8 staff members of two colleges in Matiari district of Hyderabad have been diagnosed with corona.

Earlier, according to a report, seven teachers of the same government school were reported covid-19 positive. The teachers are from Government Higher Secondary School No. 1, Cantt, Peshawar. According to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Department, the corona tests of teachers were conducted a week ago. None of the Corona-infected teachers met the students, and those teachers will be re-tested for Corona. The health department has been consulted about the test of all teachers.
