According to Baaghi TV reports, the husband of PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz, Captain (R.) Safdar fell victim to the COVID-19. His Corona virus test has not yet been negative, however, his condition has begun to improve.

According to hospital sources, Captain (R.) Safdar’s oxygen level has also improved and on further improvement, he will undergo corona test in next 72 hours. If their Corona test is negative, he will be discharged from the hospital.

Captain (R.) Safdar complained of cold and fever, after which he underwent corona test. Captain (R.) Safdar has been admitted to Sharif Medical Complex, and will be kept in quarantine for 14 days. Captain (R.) Safdar was with Maryam Nawaz in the Gilgit-Baltistan elections. On his return to Islamabad, when he was tested, he was diagnosed COVID-19 positive. However, Maryam Nawaz’s corona test was negative.

The National Command and Operations Center has made it mandatory to wear a mask to prevent corona virus in Pakistan. Masks must be worn when leaving homes. In government and private sector offices, workers will be required to wear masks. Provincial governments have been instructed to make SOPs and masks mandatory in markets, shopping malls, public transport, restaurants.
