Wapda House affected by Covid-19, employees tested positive

Saturday, Jun 13th: According to the report of Baaghi TV, the spread of corona continues in Pakistan, 2551 deaths have been reported from corona in Pakistan, the number of patients is also increasing rapidly.

Corona is also spreading rapidly in Lahore, the provincial capital of Punjab. In Lahore, 30 employees of Wapda House have fallen victim to Corona, after which Wapda House was completely closed for 9 days.

After conducting tests of WAPDA employees, 30 employees were diagnosed with corona. WAPDA House has been closed from June 13 to June 21. In this regard, Secretary WAPDA has issued a notification.

According to the notification, all the necessary work and important meetings will be held at Sunny View Office, all the officers posted at WAPDA House will work from their homes and will be available on phone call. Security and administrative officers spray the entire office to disinfect.

It is to be noted that the proposal of severe lockdown is being considered in Lahore after the increasing cases of Corona. A proposal to close all major markets and business centers in Lahore is under consideration. Strict measures are also being considered at the entrances and exits of Lahore. Medical stores will be allowed to remain open during the lockdown in Lahore.
