Lahore, 30th April: In order to control the rapid spread of coronavirus in Lahore, authorities have imposed a complete lockdown.
Commissioner Lahore Division Muhammad Usman announced on Friday that a complete lockdown will be imposed in Lahore on Saturdays and Sundays.
Keeping in view the alarming increase in coronavirus cases, he ordered that all businesses and markets will remain closed over the weekend.
Commissioner Lahore Division shared the information on his Twitter page.
ہفتہ اور اتوار کو لاہور شہر میں مکمل لاک ڈاؤن ہو گا۔تمام کاروبار اور مارکیٹیں مکمل بند رہیں گی۔صرف میڈیکل سٹور، پٹرول پمپ، ویکسی نیشن سنٹرز، دودھ دہی، گوشت اور سبزی کی دوکانیں کھلی رہیں گی۔

He wrote, “There will be a complete lockdown in Lahore on Saturday and Sunday. All businesses and markets will remain completely closed. Only medical stores, petrol pumps, vaccination centers, dairy, meat and vegetable shops will remain open.”
The Commissioner also requested the citizens to help the authorities succeed in making tough decisions in this difficult time.
He further advised the citizens to buy necessary items today as the next two days everything will be closed.
According to the latest data, coronavirus has caused 18 more deaths in Lahore city while 1085 more new COVID-19 patients have been reported.
A total of 1237 corona patients have been admitted to public and private hospitals. The condition of 265 patients with coronavirus is critical and are being treated on a ventilator.
