Actor Amitabh Dayal dies of heart attack at 51
MUMBAI: Indian actor/film-maker, Amitabh Dayal passed away following a heart attack at the age of 51. According to the sources, he was admitted to Mumbai’s Nanavati Hospital. The actor had been in the hospital after suffering from a major heart attack on 17th January.
The actor’s wife, producer/film-maker, Mrinalini Patil, confirmed the news of the death of her husband after talking to the Indian media.
“He passed away at 4:30 a.m. this morning. He was taken to the hospital after suffering from a heart attack on 17th January. He was later tested positive for COVID-19 but then tested negative after receiving treatment,” Mrinalini Patil said while talking to the Indian media.

“We will be doing my husband’s last rites in Mumbai. Amitabh’s family is in Chhattisgarh so we are waiting for his relatives to come before the funeral,” she added further.
“Never give up…god is waiting to give you the best. Keep fighting. Love all. A.D.,” the actor said in his last Instagram video while writing a motivational message to his fans.

Amitabh Dayal has worked in numerous films including Kagaar: Life on the Edge (2003), Amitabh Bachan’s Virrudh (2005), P. Akash’s Dillagi…Yeh Dillagi (2005), Bhoujpuri’s film Rangdari (2012) and Raj Babbar’s Dhuaan (2013).
The actor is survived by his daughter and wife.
