We must support PIA to strengthen it: Mubasher Lucman
Mubasher Lucman in his recent video on Mubasher Lucman Official YouTube Channel shares great news in this time of distress and economic disaster.
He informs that the PIA has been given permission to fly directly and rescue the stranded Pakistanis from the USA.
This is a special permission in these testing times when the Airline industry is in tremendous pressure and the big names are sinking. Air Atlantic is facing huge difficulty in continuing operations, Lufthansa is under stress the industry will reshape and new opportunities will be created.
Lucman tells us that the PIA has to encash this opportunity and widen its routes and acquire new jets to fulfill the need of customers from prospective locations like Washington, Los Angeles, and Toronto.

Recently a successful experiment for Australian flight has proved beneficial.
US air aviation authorities will welcome operators like PIA in comparison to brands like Etihad and Emirates who are under the watch due to malpracticing of undercuts in US local market pitting American brand under pressure and resulting in loss of revenue.
Special times need special measures, the government should make some special legislation for PIA to avoid PALPA rules for acquiring new jets.
The oil prices are at their lowest levels, air lines are going bankrupt and shutting down PIA has to go with an aggressive approach and take future positions to beat the competition and claim the lost glory.
PIA gets special permissions to operate directly to the US
The current management is making progress in the right direction and they seem to be capable enough to stabilize the sinking business of PIA and achieve positive results .
The PIA management has dissolved all labour union including PALPA. The public is happy with this decision of PIA management as they would like to see PIA run successfully by a strong management rather than a blackmailed corporation.
PALPA has a history of bogus strikes resulting in a loss for the organization and trouble for the customers. It is a misrepresentation of Pilots community as only pilots flying with PIA can be a member and no other pilots are allowed to get the membership.
Lucman tells us that of late PIA has been acquiring services of contracted pilots giving it more control over operations and better customer service and from here PIA has to move forward and relive the famous slogan “Great people to fly with”.
PIA cancels working agreements with PALPA and other associations
There has been criticism on the freights being charged for these special flight which is a bit out of proportion for the time being. It is difficult to carryout rescue flight on regular rates. The flight attendants, pilots, and other crew members are putting their lives in danger and have to go through extensive quarantine after the flight operations and economically are on not viable to take empty flight for one-way and then bring customers.
Lucman stands in support of the PIA and urges all to stand with PIA and support them to regain strength and operational greatness.
