We value our brotherly relations with Turkey: COAS

Rawalpindi: We highly value brotherly relations with Turkey, Army Chief talks to Turkish General. According to reports, Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said that we highly value fraternal relations with Turkey.

According to a statement issued by the Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa met with Commander Turkish Land Forces General Amit Dendar. They discussed bilateral professional issues, especially defense and security cooperation.

According to ISPR, on his arrival at GHQ, the Turkish general was presented with a guard of honor by the military contingent. ISPR said that the two sides discussed the development of Pak-Turkish relations, including training and counter-terrorism.

The ISPR also said that during the meeting, the Turkish General praised the role of Pakistan Army for peace and stability in the region. Healthy relations are once again seen between the two nations.
