Weather Updates: Pakistan welcomes monsoon season

Baaghi TV: The weather has reportedly become pleasant due to heavy rains across different parts of Pakistan. The people who were suffering from heat have finally breathed a sigh of relief.

Different parts of the country, including Lahore and Islamabad, had become hot but have become pleasant with the first showers of monsoon. The Meteorological Department has forecast continuous rains in most parts of the country today.

Nature has been kind, the weather in different cities has been well received with light and heavy rains, in the garden city of Lahore there are camps of gray clouds after the rain, cool breezes have made the weather more beautiful. The heat has also subsided, with the city likely to experience more heat today.

The Meteorological Department has forecast rain in Central Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and North East Balochistan even today. Rain with thunderstorm is expected in Islamabad, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. It is expected to rain with strong winds in coastal areas including Karachi. Clouds will also fall in different parts of Janat Nazeer Kashmir Valley. The temperature in Jammu will be 39 degrees, in Srinagar 31 degrees and in Leh 20 degrees.

The Meteorological Department has forecast heavy rains in different cities of Sindh including Hyderabad and Dadu from today. Urban flooding is also feared in Karachi and Hyderabad.

According to the Meteorological Department, strong winds will blow and people will be less likely to leave their homes during the rainy season. Stay away from electricity poles, drive carefully.

The meteorological department also forecast rain in Chakwal, Murree, Sargodha, Mianwali, Khushab, Mandi Bahauddin and Hafizabad on Saturday.

Rain with wind and thundershowers is expected in Sialkot, Narowal, Faisalabad, Jhang, To Beh Tek Singh, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Gujarat and Lahore.

Sahiwal, Multan, DG Khan, Layyah, Bhakkar, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Chitral, Dir, Buner, Swat, Shangla, Kohistan, Haripur, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Peshawar, Bannu, Lakki Marwat, Karak, DI Khan, North and South Waziristan, Kurram and Kohat are likely to experience wind and rain.

The weather will remain hot and dry in most districts of Balochistan province. However, strong winds and thundershowers are expected in Barkhan, Khuzdar and surrounding areas.

According to the Meteorological Department, hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of Sindh province today. Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan will also continue to receive rains with strong winds and thunderstorms.
