According to a Baaghi TV report, Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed has quarantined himself after testing positive for Covid-19. Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani has said that Mushahid Hussain has tested positive for Coronavirus, pray for the speedy recovery of Mushahid Hussain.

Earlier in the day, the Corona report of the Federal Minister for Planning, Development, and Reforms Khusro Bakhtiar was also reported as positive. Meanwhile, important personalities including President Dr. Arif Alvi, Shahbaz Sharif, Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood have fallen prey to Covid-19.

On the other hand, the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) has issued guidelines to prevent a further spread of the Coronavirus. According to the NCOC, these guidelines will be effective in preventing the spread of Corona and reducing the pressure on the health sector. Therefore, people with a temperature of 37.5 degrees Celcius or higher, who get a positive corona test should follow the NCOC guidelines seriously. According to the NCOC, people who test positive for Coronavirus and/or experience its symptoms should be quarantined for five days.

According to the NCOC, people with Covid-19 should avoid leaving the house and keep as far away from others as possible. If you are sick, stay home, talk to your doctor on the phone, and keep in touch with others by phone or email.

If you have a fever, cough, or difficulty breathing, tell your doctor immediately. Consult a doctor if you have persistent chest pain, blue lips, or face. The sick person should stay in a separate room, keeping a distance from others in the house. In addition, access to medicines and supplies for several weeks while staying at home should be made possible. However, those who take care of the sick should avoid unnecessary guests.

Sick people and those who care for them should use masks. It is better to give a corona patient food in the room. In case of contact with the patient, get a corona test done on the fifth day. Whereas, the non-vaccinated, or whose 6 months vaccine is completed and those without booster should quarantine for 10 days. The booster person does not need quarantine upon contact with the patient, however, use the mask for 10 days.

According to Baaghi TV reports, in Pakistan Coronavirus is once again spreading rapidly, with a sharp rise in patients and deaths. The NCOC has released statistics showing that 8 patients died from Covid-19 across the country. During the last 24 hours, 7,195 corona cases were reported, 57,401 corona tests were performed, the positivity rate was confirmed to be 12.53% and the number of deaths across the country rose to 29,105. Meanwhile, the number of Corona cases across the country reached 1.374 million.

According to the NCOC, the number of cases in Sindh is 526,899, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is 185,340, in Punjab is 464,431, in Islamabad is 118,292, in Balochistan is 33,941, in Azad Kashmir is 35,400, and 10,497 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

On the other hand, a Micro-Smart Lockdown has been implemented in 3 sub-divisions of Karachi District South. Deputy Commissioner South District has issued notification of Micro-Smart Lockdown which has been implemented at specific locations including Garden, President, and Civil Lines. District administration, police, and concerned agencies have been directed to ensure the implementation of micro-smart lockdown, which will remain in force till the end of the Corona cases. The gathering of three or more persons will be prohibited during the micro-smart lockdown during which the unnecessary exit of citizens will be prohibited, and Corona patients will be cordoned off.

In addition, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has directed to intensify the Corona Vaccination Campaign. Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar said that the process of administering booster doses to the citizens should be ensured in all cases. The Punjab government is taking all possible steps to protect the lives of the citizens, he added.

The administrative machinery, the health department, the police, and the concerned departments are on high alert to deal with Corona. The fifth wave of Corona requires more caution, it is important to maintain social distance in public places. Effective implementation of SOPs will minimize the spread of the virus. People are urged to follow government guidelines for the safety and well-being of their lives.
