The federal government presented a report in the court today that warrants have been issued to Hassan Nawaz but now they have come up with a denial from Hassan Nawaz.
When Nawaz Sharif’s appeals were heard in the Islamabad High Court, Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani asked whether Nawaz Sharif had been issued an arrest warrant. On which the Additional Attorney General said that arrest warrants were received through Pakistan High Commission.
Arrest warrants were sent through special delivery and received by Hassan Nawaz. The officer posted in Pakistan High Commission Rao Abdul Hanan went to Nawaz Sharif’s house with the warrant. Warrants were issued for Nawaz Sharif’s Avonfield Apartments 16 and 17.
It should be noted that at the last hearing, the Islamabad High Court had issued warrants for Nawaz Sharif and ordered him to appear before the court.
